The Egg Files is a game that requires lightning quick reflexes, samurai spirit and a will to power. OK, maybe it does not need all that but it is fun. At least that's what the judges at the Independent Games Festival thought.
Earth is being invaded by aliens, very hungry aliens. Unfortunately these egg-zotic extraterrestrials are interested in only one thing... eating eggs. Over easy, sunny side up, scrambled, poached it's all good in their book (it's a cookbook). Led by the evil genius Zargon, they are hell bent on world domination for our endless supply of delicious, nutritious eggs! Armed only with your rooster booster and an arsenal of hen-grenades created by genetically enhanced chickens, it's your job to send these interstellar interlopers back to the dimension from which they came .
Your friend Colonel Kluck has provided you with a few tools to help you oust these villains from our good planet
- Rooster Booster which you use to envelope the enemy and send them back to the parallel universe they emerged from
- Hen grenades from genetically engineered chickens can be used as missiles to bring down their ship.
Along the way there are a bunch of power ups to help you along as well:
- Super Speed
- Tank
- Atomic Blast
- Long Lasso
- Super Shielding
"The Egg Files" runs on PC computers with Windows 2000 and XP. You will need a 3D graphcis card and the minimum CPU speed is 1.2 GHZ.
