Treasure Island

<p>Treasure Island continues the recent spate of wonderfully crafted puzzle games from NevoSoft. This time you step into the boots of an adventurous traveler, who is out on an exciting journey to an island somewhere in the Caribbean. This is where pirates have buried their treasures. Your objective is to follow the path marked on an old map, explore diversely-themed locations, and collect ancient treasures. Much fun and a good shot of adrenaline are guaranteed!</p><p>The rules of the game are very simple. You start each level with a checked game board filled with different treasure items, such as rings, crowns, diamonds, and pieces of gold. Match three or more items into a line, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Once you have a line, all matched treasures fly into the chest and your score goes up. The trick of the game is brown squares. Make your matches in such a way so as to clear all of them from the board.</p><p>Treasure Island features Classic and Timeless play modes. Try Classic, if you want to exercise your reaction. The challenge here is to keep pace with the lit fuse. If it reaches the powder keg, the game blows up and you have to start again. Remember you have only three lives here. For a more relaxing experience, play Timeless mode which has no time limits. As you go through the game, you will get rewarded with nice bonuses that help you survive and add to the score.</p><p>Similar to other puzzles from NevoSoft, Treasure Island is visually unique. The game takes place among colorful Caribbean locations with palms slowly swaying in the wind, a nice harbor, and an old pirates’ ship that has seen many combats. All this is masterfully drawn by a professional artist and interwoven with animations. The funniest thing in the game is the end of a level, when skeletons start fancy dances under the shower of treasures to cheer up the winner.</p>
