Getting them in the water is a battle in and of itself, let alone scrubbing them once they're wet. The animals in Paradise Pet Salon from TOYBOX GAMES and Alawar Entertainment, however, jump right in and splash around. That's because the developers of the game were more concerned about offering a fun gameplay experience than simulating what animal grooming is like in real life. In Paradise Pet Salon, you play the proprietor of a pet salon who has her sites set on making it big. You begin with a small shop, a Cleaning Table and a Cutting Table. As customers come in with their animals, you take their pet, clean it and groom it, then collect your fees and send the client on his or her way. Customers will get impatient if you make them wait too long. Each level consists of a single day of business, and as you make money, you can spend it on additional equipment and goodies for increasing everyone's patience. Paradise Pet Salon has some of the best graphics in a time management game. Plus, there are tons of upgrades to purchase, and you can choose your own decor and store layout, giving you ample room for customization. Although the pace of the gameplay is sluggish at first, once you purchase more equipment and begin offering additional services, the action picks up.
