Sprill: The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle Review
Written by: Cynthia Roubique Published: February 17, 2008 Our favorite fox cub, Sprill, is back! Sprill: The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle is a new hidden object game from Alawar Entertainment. The story begins with aliens abducting Sprill and taking him to the bottom of the ocean. The otherworldly visitors explain that they've been sinking ships and planes over the Bermuda Triangle because they need help finding a special pearl that can save their world. With 35 levels and dozens of sunken ships and planes to explore, there are hours of fun to be had. Each stage must be completed within a specific time limit. While you're searching for the objects you need, Sprill can be seen at the bottom of your screen marking things off his list. If you click wrong, he shakes his head; when you polish off a list, he gives you a high five! Throughout the game, you must also solve ten mechanical puzzles to obtain objects that can help you complete your mission. These are a real challenge. The graphics and the comic strip dialogue are wonderful! And, if you can imagine the sounds you would hear while underwater, you'll realize that's what the game's audio effects are like! If a level gets the best of you, you can replay it as many times as you want. I found myself having to replay a few levels, but I didn't mind because Sprill is so adorable and the game is a ton of fun. Sprill was easy to learn, too, so everyone should try it.
